Requirements

  • 2+ years in an administrative or customer service position.
  • Must be computer literate including email, typing, managing multiple monitors, searching the internet.
  • Recognize internet connectivity issues due to remote position.
  • Set up user names and passwords.
  • Work with multiple software at a time (outlook, excel, word, etc).
  • Experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of mortgage or banking practices a plus, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Excellent listening, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to interpret and make conclusions based on available information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Loan Processors in gathering and organizing information for the loan file.
  • Make timely follow up calls to quickly compile accurate file information.
  • Order services needed and as directed by Sr. Processor for file packaging.
  • Follow-up continually on all requested items, and working in an efficient manner.
  • Work with vendors, AMC’s, title companies, banks, etc. to gather the necessary information for a complete loan file.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness if loan documentation necessary for loan approval and closing.
  • Order Appraisals based on mortgage channel.
  • Research information through various websites.
  • Progress through phase training to advance to Loan Processor as positions open.
  • Assist with other duties as necessary.
