Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in employee benefits procedures for a multi-state employer.
  • HRIS experience including report generation of ad hoc reports.
  • Self-funded Benefit Plan experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Google Workspace preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of plan designs and benefit contract language.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS platforms for complex data management and ad-hoc report generation. Workday preferred.
  • Strong ability to utilize spreadsheets and presentation tools to interpret complex data.
  • Focused on supporting internal customer.
  • Acts with sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Able to manage sensitive data and meet legal/compliance commitments.
  • Capable of explaining complex benefit plans to diverse audiences.
  • Able to make sound, timely decisions to keep benefits processes moving forward.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all leave-related inquiries, providing empathetic and timely support to team members navigating FMLA, ADA, and personal leaves.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of multi-state LOAs, ensuring seamless coordination between payroll, people operations, and external carriers.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Federal and State guidelines (including ERISA, ACA, and FMLA) to ensure our leave policies remain cutting-edge and compliant.
  • Manage NAB’s Benefit Programs (Health, Wellness, Leave, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.)
  • Resolve team member benefit inquiries with timely, equitable, and courteous service
  • Partner with brokers to create and deliver enrollment and onboarding materials
  • Maintain plan documents and notices for compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other regulations
  • Support and gather documentation for plan audits
  • Administer 401(k) plans, including enrollment, distributions, and 5500 filings
