Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in a digital marketing role
- Hands-on experience across social media, paid ads, and/or SEO
- Strong written English with ability to communicate professionally with an Australian-based team
- Creative eye and enthusiasm for visual storytelling, producing authentic social media content
- Confident writing long-form content such as blog posts in an established brand voice
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and Meta Ads Manager
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns
- Comfortable working in WordPress and implementing SEO recommendations
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (MailerLite preferred) and basic CRM principles
- Strong working knowledge of AI tools, including building agent assistants and structuring knowledge bases
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without close supervision
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home office setup
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Monitor and grow our social media presence by tracking performance metrics
- Manage and optimise Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and direct messages
- Write blog posts for our website that reflect our destination expertise, support our SEO strategy
- Set up, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns including campaign structure, ad groups, keyword lists, and ad copy
- Monitor landing pages and destination URLs to ensure quality, accuracy, and conversion performance
- Implement on-site SEO updates to our WordPress website as directed by our SEO agency
- Coordinate email campaigns and automated flows using MailerLite
- Use AI tools such as Claude and Canva AI day-to-day to support content ideation, copywriting drafts, and campaign asset production
