Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering environment, with a focus on operations.
- Strong understanding of engineering operations, workflows, and best practices.
- Proficiency with the tools used by Engineering teams to build enterprise software.
- Experience administrating tools like Jira or ADO/GitHub.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and their application in optimizing operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the integration of acquired engineering teams and processes into our existing operations.
- Coordinate the alignment of tools, systems, and workflows to ensure a smooth transition.
- Operationalize and maintain access management processes for engineering resources.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of engineering personnel, ensuring appropriate access is granted or revoked.
- Work with each product development team to create consistency in process and best practice for the use of our tools like Jira, ADO/GitHub and LinearB.
- Work with DevOps and Engineering Leadership to manage and maintain engineering-related domain lists.
- Work with DevOps and Engineering Leadership to manage and optimize vendor accounts related to engineering software, hardware, and services.
- Work with product teams, Accounting/Finance and Engineering Leadership to manage the process of creating and maintaining capitalization reports for engineering projects.
- Develop, document, and maintain new engineering policies and MiSOPs.
- Help Product teams prepare for and provide evidence for annual SOC II audit.
