- Ability to explain complex information in a simple manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, an active listener
- Insurance broker level 1 license
- Willingness to obtain level 2 insurance broker license ASAP
- Experience with personal lines insurance
Responsibilities
- Deliver superior customer service that promotes client retention
- Uncover clients’ business challenges and act as a client advocate identifying their needs and providing recommendations
- Assist clients with their insurance needs by utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles
- Contact prospects through phone and email
- Respond on a timely basis to incoming web leads
- Achieve and excel monthly sales quotas
- Accurately record client activities in the company’s database
