Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sourcing experience or Master’s with 2+ years
- Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract lifecycle management
- Experience in contract manufacturing or complex procurement environments, ideally within life sciences or regulated industries
- Proficiency with procurement and sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Workday Strategic Sourcing, Sirion Labs) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and market intelligence
- Proven experience managing cross-functional, global projects in a matrixed organization
- Strong financial, contractual, and legal understanding related to procurement and supplier agreements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced global environment
- Experience with supplier performance management, cost optimization programs, and advanced procurement analytics tools (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global strategic sourcing strategies for contract manufacturing
- Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and end-to-end contract management
- Analyze procurement data, supplier performance, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Utilize advanced analytics and sourcing tools to generate insights and support strategic decision-making
- Manage key supplier relationships to drive innovation, quality improvement, and long-term value creation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, and Business teams
- Support and guide complex sourcing negotiations and RFP processes
- Contribute to financial planning and cost savings forecasting
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and promote continuous improvement within procurement practices
