Requirements
- Strong experience in contract administration within complex government or defense environments

- Deep expertise in negotiating and managing multiple contract types, including cost-plus and fixed-price agreements
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. government contracting regulations
- Prior leadership or people management experience
- Ability to guide and develop teams effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in complex and regulated environments
- Proficiency in standard business tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of contracts professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, task delegation, and performance oversight to ensure high-quality and compliant contract execution.
- Manage major Department of Defense (DoD) contracts end-to-end, including solicitation review, proposal support, negotiation, contract administration, change management, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee contract compliance with federal regulations, internal policies, customer requirements, and applicable legal frameworks, including FAR and DFARS.
- Support and guide proposal development efforts, including RFP analysis, pricing inputs, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Advise leadership on contractual rights, obligations, risk exposure, and mitigation strategies across programs and business units.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with program management, legal, finance, and engineering teams to ensure aligned execution of contract requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, cash flow considerations, and historical contract data to support strategic decision-making.
- Engage in negotiations with government and commercial stakeholders to secure favorable contractual outcomes.
