Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with manual and automated penetration testing techniques.
  • Experience with performing penetration testing on cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with container security and experience in testing containerized applications.
  • Familiarity with industry standard frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Application Security Testing (MAST) and experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to perform code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of network and web application security testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (OSCP, GPEN, CPTC or other related)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security risks and threats.
  • Develop and execute security testing plans and procedures.
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in a wide range of technologies, including web applications, networks and operating systems.
  • Develop and maintain custom tools and scripts for penetration testing.
  • Conduct social engineering assessments to identify potential security weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide recommendations on how to improve their security posture.
  • Participate in incident response activities and support clients during security incidents.
  • Continuously research and keep up-to-date with emerging security threats, trends and best practices in penetration testing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, when applicable.
