Requirements
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with manual and automated penetration testing techniques.
- Experience with performing penetration testing on cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with container security and experience in testing containerized applications.
- Familiarity with industry standard frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Knowledge of Mobile Application Security Testing (MAST) and experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to perform code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of network and web application security testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (OSCP, GPEN, CPTC or other related)
Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security risks and threats.
- Develop and execute security testing plans and procedures.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in a wide range of technologies, including web applications, networks and operating systems.
- Develop and maintain custom tools and scripts for penetration testing.
- Conduct social engineering assessments to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide recommendations on how to improve their security posture.
- Participate in incident response activities and support clients during security incidents.
- Continuously research and keep up-to-date with emerging security threats, trends and best practices in penetration testing.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, when applicable.
