Requirements
- Native or professional fluency in Spanish and English is required; at least CEFR B2 Level for Spanish with valid language certificate.
- Previous experience in a medical front-office or call center environment; experience in Cardiology is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and multi-line phone systems.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a high-volume setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to jump between scheduling, follow-ups, and live calls seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Provide fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish to assist our diverse patient population accurately and empathetically.
- Efficiently handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, acting as the first point of contact for patient inquiries, referrals, and general information.
- Coordinate and manage complex appointment calendars for Cardiology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing.
- Proactively conduct outbound outreach to patients for post-procedure check-ins, appointment reminders, and to relay non-clinical instructions from providers.
- Ensure all patient demographic and insurance information is accurately captured and updated in the EMR system during the intake process.
- Manage patient requests for medical records, prescription refills, and specialist referrals while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
