Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years as a project manager
  • Proven experience delivering projects in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across customers, partners, delivery teams, vendors, and senior leadership
  • Strong delivery discipline and governance
  • Process-driven, diligent, and methodical approach to planning, delivery, reporting, and close-out
  • Commercial mindset, understanding how scope, effort, change control, and risk impact outcomes
  • Comfortable managing budgets, forecasting, variations, and escalating commercial risk
  • Clear, confident communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to translate technical or delivery issues into plain English updates for senior stakeholders (including C-level)
  • Produce quality project artefacts such as status reports, RAID logs, and steering committee updates
  • Experience with governance, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Confident and experienced with Waterfall project management methods
  • Agile experience (bonus)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects for different clients concurrently
  • Experience delivering IT infrastructure implementations (e.g., cloud transformations, end-user computing, identity, networking, security initiatives)
  • Experienced user of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Experience with a PSA tool (advantageous)

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to agreed scope
  • Lead and enable collaboration across delivery teams, resource managers, partners, and customers
  • Apply standard Waterfall project management methodology and tools to drive consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Work collaboratively with partners and clients in a hybrid style approach while maintaining delivery standards
  • Actively track and communicate project status, finances, risks, issues, blockers, and potential scope changes to key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain clear, accurate and timely project documentation in line with the delivery framework
  • Drive project management efforts to achieve business goals in Australia, UK and USA
