Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and delivery for how families join, set up, and use Young Monzo day-to-day across Global markets.
  • Define the product vision and strategy to evolve the experience into a cohesive family banking proposition.
  • Cover onboarding, parental controls, safety, and the full path to adulthood (Under 16s → 16–17 → adult Monzo).
  • Design a seamless family onboarding experience for parents and children.
  • Build intuitive parental controls and safety guardrails.
  • Enable everyday payments and money management for kids within risk and compliance constraints.
  • Create a smooth graduation journey into adult Monzo.
  • Adapt the proposition for international markets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, user research, marketing, legal, finance crime and compliance teams.
  • Help families discover and get the most out of features that build children’s financial confidence and independence.
