Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in equity administration, compensation, or total rewards, ideally in a public company or complex, high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of equity structures, cap tables, vesting schedules, and equity management systems
  • Solid foundation in compensation principles, including benchmarking, analysis, and annual compensation cycles
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, governance, and control frameworks
  • Ability to independently build and improve processes in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with experience partnering across Finance, Legal, and HR
  • Comfortable managing sensitive financial and employee data with discretion and integrity
  • Experience with SEC reporting, proxy statements, audits, or regulatory disclosures (nice to have)
  • Certification such as Certified Compensation Professional or equivalent (nice to have)
  • Experience with global or multi-jurisdiction equity or compensation programs (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end equity administration processes, including grants, vesting, exercises, terminations, cancellations, and record maintenance in alignment with equity plans and board approvals
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the company’s cap table and equity administration systems, including governance standards and access controls
  • Partner with Finance and Legal teams to support audits, financial reporting, and corporate transactions through accurate, well-documented equity data
  • Support proxy statement preparation and executive compensation disclosures by compiling, reconciling, and validating equity and compensation information
  • Assist HR and Finance teams with compensation planning cycles, benchmarking, job leveling, and compensation analysis as needed
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HR to ensure accurate processing of equity-related payroll, tax withholding, and employee communications
  • Design and improve scalable equity and compensation processes, workflows, and controls to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk
