Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or AI/ML engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
- Deep expertise in at least one core AI/ML domain (e.g., GenAI, MLOps, distributed computing, data science, cloud infrastructure)
- Experience working with open-source AI frameworks and ecosystems (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, Ray, Kubeflow, LLM tools)
- Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures
- Proven ability to engage with clients and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience in pre-sales or consulting environments is highly desirable
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with government or regulated environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical strategy of end-to-end open-source AI solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and production-ready architectures that align with client needs and business goals
- Serve as a key technical advisor across sales and delivery cycles, bridging customer requirements with robust AI/ML system design and implementation
- Lead solution architecture for complex AI systems, including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and MLOps frameworks
- Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide expertise on open-source AI frameworks and tools (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, Ray, Kubeflow, LLM ecosystems)
- Define architecture blueprints covering infrastructure, security, integration, and scalability considerations
- Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, proposals, and solution design discussions
- Guide engineering teams during implementation and ensure alignment with architectural vision
- Contribute to thought leadership and open-source community engagement through content, talks, and collaboration
- Identify technical risks and ensure mitigation strategies across project lifecycles
