Requirements

  • 7+ years of data analysis experience with deep knowledge of product KPIs, full funnel performance.
  • Ability to connect marketing and product insights to drive business growth.
  • Strong product instinct to turn data into decisions and connect user behavior with business impact.
  • Mastery of SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions.
  • Strong hands-on Python proficiency.
  • Familiarity with dbt is welcomed.
  • Experience setting up and managing data pipelines with a strong understanding of data workflow orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
  • Ability to translate experimentation results into clear growth recommendations.
  • Capable of creating intuitive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex insights clearly.
  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex data ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Aligned with the values outlined in Kraken's Tentaclements document.
  • A degree in a field emphasizing analytical rigor such as analytics, software engineering, or economics.
  • Based in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Spain, Cyprus or Portugal with flexibility on working hours to support a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Turn complex product data into clear, actionable insights to improve user experience, support new features, and deepen engagement.
  • Help leadership make high-impact product decisions.
  • Own end-to-end data management, including building and maintaining datasets and pipelines.
  • Design dashboards and insights for the Product and leadership teams.
  • Drive experimentation infrastructure and automate reporting workflows to boost efficiency and accelerate decision-making.
  • Own the design of dashboards, product metrics, and performance reports.
  • Automate product data solutions, reporting workflows, and pipelines.
  • Dive into large, complex datasets to turn findings into scalable data models.
  • Translate product and business requests into accurate reports and automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and product teams to build and maintain high-quality data pipelines and sources.
  • Lead the design and launch of A/B testing frameworks, test hypotheses, and translate results into clear product recommendations.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests for feature performance, user onboarding, product reviews, and day-to-day business needs.
  • Deliver insights that shape product direction through clear, data-driven storytelling.
