Requirements

Proven video editing experience in educational videos
Proven video editing experience in short-form social content
Proven video editing experience in event highlight reels
Proven video editing experience in interviews
Proven video editing experience in long-form podcast or YouTube content
Expert-level proficiency in at least two of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut
Strong understanding of social trends and viral content structure
Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and aspect ratios
Strong understanding of color correction and basic motion graphics
Strong understanding of audio editing and mixing
Fast, reliable, and detail-oriented
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Creative instincts and an eye for storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement

Responsibilities

Edit short educational videos using raw footage, talking-head content, screen recordings, or multi-camera setups.
Select the best takes and build clear, engaging narratives.
Edit short-form clips (15–60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Edit high-energy event recaps using professional footage, transitions, text overlays, and music.
Edit full podcast episodes and long-form YouTube videos.
Clean, level, and master audio tracks for podcast release.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet quick-turn deadlines.
Deliver consistent updates, follow organized naming conventions, and maintain efficient file management.
Communicate proactively about needs, blockers, and delivery timelines.
