Experience adding captions and designing engaging on-screen text

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

Edit long-form videos into multiple short-form clips (15–60 seconds) optimized for social media
Identify the most engaging moments ("hooks") from long content
Add captions, subtitles, emojis, and motion graphics to improve engagement
Use jump cuts, zooms, sound effects, and pacing techniques to maintain viewer retention
Format videos for vertical (9:16) viewing across platforms
Follow trends and adapt editing style to match current viral content formats
