Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience as a Digital, Interactive, and/or Visual Designer in an advertising, branding, or in-house agency
  • Experience successfully leading and managing designers
  • Consistent track record of interpreting briefs, developing creative brand solutions, and delivering projects within agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • B2B experience (preferred)
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills
  • Deep affinity for layout, typography, and idea generation
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing content delivery needs, solutions, and processes
  • Ability to maintain consistency across designs while maintaining a highly creative approach
  • Working knowledge of After Effects animation (bonus skill)
  • Experience with design automation (bonus skill)
  • Awareness of UX, UI, and Responsive Design trends (bonus skill)
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels, both in-person and remotely
  • Strong strategic capacity to establish mid- and long-term plans, drive execution, and analyze results
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and open-minded professional who excels at building influential, collaborative relationships across an organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead design delivery: Direct digital, print, and video projects across six divisions of the US/Canada B2B business group.
  • Drive creative concepts: Develop creative and graphic concepts across multiple touchpoints, campaigns, and channels to meet content objectives.
  • Champion the brand: Define and adapt the brand look and feel for various platforms while ensuring consistent representation across all deliverables.
  • Evangelize design frameworks: Master and ensure consistency with design guidelines, templates, and toolkits to enable global consistency and elevate execution quality.
  • Lead creative reviews: Facilitate design reviews and drive continuous improvement of digital deliverables within your scope of responsibility.
  • Mentor and develop: Manage and coach junior creative team members, providing clear direction, targets, and development opportunities.
  • Optimize resources: Continuously monitor team workload and organizational efficiency using data and feedback, making adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Manage change: Lead the design team through process changes, ensuring smooth adoption and maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Oversee production: Follow projects closely through all stages of production and online deployment.
  • Manage quality control: Oversee the preparation of all finished files, ensuring complete compliance with correct output specifications.
