- Owned a product line through multiple stages (early adoption, scaling, category leadership)
- Architectural depth in Kubernetes internals
- Architectural depth in distributed systems tradeoffs
- Architectural depth in multi-tenant isolation
- Shipped infrastructure products that other companies build on
- Experience with a product going from new category to default choice
- Pattern recognition of infra category evolution and moat formation
Responsibilities
- Set coherent direction across vCluster platform, vNode, and vMetal, identifying convergence, divergence, and future product surfaces.
- Own the technical thesis that ties the product surfaces together.
- Work directly with engineering leadership, customer design partners, and founders on architecture decisions shaping the product for years.
- Drive how multi-tenant Kubernetes for AI Cloud is defined externally (analyst relations, technical content, conference narrative, competitive framing).
- Build trusted relationships with platform leads at large AI Cloud operators, financial institutions, and platform engineering organizations.
- Translate forward-looking customer architecture decisions into product direction.
- Raise the bar on PM craft across the team.
- Establish patterns for specs, customer development, and launch processes that scale beyond individual contributions.
