Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Significant experience with platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products
- Track record of generating area-level strategy
- Ability to define what a platform area becomes
- Can hold a coherent vision across multiple primitives and language ecosystems
- Driven complex cross-team delivery across multiple SDKs or client libraries
- Deep understanding of technical behavior (e.g., timeout vs. cancellation)
- Rigorous about customer evidence and data-driven prioritization
- Partnered with engineering leadership to influence technical direction
Responsibilities
- Generate the area strategy that connects primitives, connectivity, and composition into a coherent thesis
- Frame the problem space and make bets on primitive investments
- Drive 1-pagers and PRDs for primitive improvements and new capabilities
- Own cross-SDK delivery for each primitive, coordinating with SDK teams
- Run customer validation to identify gaps and prioritize
- Drive primitive correctness, including defaults, error messages, and cancellation
- Act as domain lead for the primitives area
- Partner with engineering leadership to shape technical direction
- Represent the primitives perspective in product-staff reviews and company-level planning
