Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, specifically within Federal government or public sector environments
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in complex sales environments
  • Experience selling infrastructure or application software solutions to large or mid-market organizations
  • Ability to navigate government procurement processes and long sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical solutions into business value
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for forecasting and pipeline management
  • High level of integrity, adaptability, and professionalism in customer-facing interactions
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment
  • Federal security clearance is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive enterprise software sales across Federal and public sector accounts, focusing on infrastructure and application modernization solutions
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to build a strong, sustainable sales pipeline
  • Engage with senior government and public sector stakeholders as a trusted advisor, shaping opportunities early in the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with field marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to support campaigns, events, and customer engagements
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing complex deals
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms in alignment with company objectives and customer requirements
  • Position solutions effectively against competitors by aligning technical capabilities with customer mission and IT priorities
