Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience.
  • Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCNP, CCSP).
  • 7+ years of experience in senior network engineering and information security roles.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Deep expertise of Meraki infrastructure.
  • Expertise in SD-WAN technologies.
  • Expertise in enterprise security frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across HQ, clinics, and data centers.
  • Manage Meraki-based infrastructure and related security devices.
  • Ensure secure connectivity for remote staff and teleworkers via VPN & Remote Access.
  • Oversee enterprise-grade Wi-Fi (Meraki) across all locations.
  • Lead the networking and security aspects of new site builds, from initial design through to deployment.
  • Manage VoIP systems, Teams Calling, and cloud telephony integrations.
  • Track uptime, performance metrics, and proactively troubleshoot network issues.
  • Handle vendor relationships and monitor SLA compliance for SD-WAN / MPLS / Internet Providers.
  • Resolve complex routing, firewall, and WAN failures (Tier 3 Escalations).
  • Guarantee high availability across East, Central, and West regions through redundancy and resiliency.
  • Implement and monitor firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, and SOC operations.
  • Lead investigations, forensics, and remediation efforts for incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Administer IAM, RBAC, and privileged account controls.
  • Conduct HIPAA security audits and risk assessments.
  • Manage Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and third-party risk assessments.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for staff.
  • Maintain certifications by adhering to standards like HITRUST, SOC2, ISO, and NIST.
