  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly across Editorial, Accolades, and internal stakeholder groups
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with complex rankings data and ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with defined methodologies
  • Experience operating in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data decisions clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with survey and data collection platforms (e.g., Typeform, Qualtrix, or similar tools)
  • Ability to leverage AI and Typeform integrations and evaluate survey design and outputs for data quality and alignment with methodology
  • Ability to manage individual workstreams, prioritize across multiple list cycles
  • Ability to operate effectively within structured project timelines
  • Preferred experience in shaping rankings, benchmarks, large research programs, or data-driven content initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and help guide Editorial and subject matter experts to understand list methodologies and determine data requirements
  • Evaluate existing Forbes data assets and data sources, identifying opportunities for reuse across lists and assessing tradeoffs and alignment with defined methodologies
  • Recommend and align on appropriate data sourcing approaches, including internal data, surveys, applications, or third-party providers, based on the needs of Editorial, Accolades, and downstream stakeholders to drive greater consistency and standardization across Forbes list methodologies
  • Evaluate data quality, sufficiency, and thresholds in partnership with Editorial and Accolades stakeholders to support defensible and repeatable list outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of Forbes’ centralized list database, building on existing data assets and workflows in partnership with Data, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure data is properly permissioned and classified for use across Forbes lists and reports
  • Identify opportunities to standardize data sourcing approaches and improve consistency across list methodologies and workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep list development on track and aligned with timelines and budgets
