Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting immigration attorneys.
  • Experience interviewing paralegals is a plus.
  • Familiarity with immigration-specific practice areas.
  • Knowledge of hiring compliance and legal credential matters.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems (e.g. Lever) and sourcing platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for social justice, human rights, or public interest law.
  • Fully fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open legal roles simultaneously.
  • Excellent discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Source, shortlist, and interview high-caliber attorneys and paralegals across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates' technical experience and resilience.
  • Recommend candidates to Programs leadership for final interview.
  • Help build job descriptions and interview frameworks for recruitment and selection.
  • Cultivate a healthy talent pipeline by tapping into a broad candidate network.
  • Work with HR colleagues to manage candidate communications, the offer process, and onboarding preparations.
