- Proven track record of building and scaling a consumer-facing business
- Automotive industry experience required
- Background in dealership operations, fixed ops, or dealer group leadership strongly preferred
- Established network within the automotive industry
- Commercially sharp (find customers, keep them, build business model)
- Operator at heart with strategic range and execution discipline
- Strong financial acumen (own P&L, build budget, data-informed decisions)
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Strong people leader (attracts talent, develops teams, builds culture)
- Excellent communicator
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for revenue, margin, and unit economics across the consumer segment
- Set financial targets, build and manage the budget, and deliver profitable growth quarter over quarter
- Define how Kooner enters and expands in consumer markets, pricing architecture, service packaging, and geographic sequencing
- Own the consumer brand from the ground up, how it looks, sounds, and feels at every touchpoint
- Identify key hires, make the business case for headcount, and recruit people motivated to build, not just manage
- Design the end-to-end service delivery model; scheduling, dispatch, technician standards, quality control, and customer communication
- Own the strategy for turning first-time customers into regulars
- Partner with product and tech stakeholders to shape the digital experience; booking, payment, service history, and reminders
- Leverage existing relationships and cultivate new ones to accelerate consumer growth
- Stay sharp on competitor moves, market shifts, and evolving consumer expectations
