Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering QS roles
- Proven Irish/UK project experience (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Public Works Contracts
- Strong knowledge of NEC
- Strong knowledge of JCT
- Experience in claims
- Experience in variations
- Experience in commercial management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory)
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience with Bluebeam or similar tools
- Experience with remote systems and digital reporting
Responsibilities
- Manage full project commercial lifecycle (cost control to final accounts)
- Monitor budgets, margins, and project risks
- Handle contract administration, claims (NOCs, EOTs), and variations
- Prepare payment applications, valuations, and final accounts
- Review project programmes and identify delays or risks
- Support tendering, take-offs, BOQs, and subcontract packages
- Maintain accurate records using digital and cloud-based systems
