  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience in a professional services organization
  • Resource Management Experience with planning, scheduling and allocating Project Management Office (PMO) personnel
  • Experience in recruiting or working with vendors/staffing agency/subcontractors
  • Resource management (2-4 years) or knowledge/training or experience with Human Resources laws and regulations, or similar experience
  • Minimum 3 years of broad Information Security experience
  • Experience tracking candidates in electronic applicant tracking systems
  • Experience in mentoring/coaching and leading team members

Responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate Services professionals including more complex, multi domain, and multi-vendor resourcing.
  • Collaborate within the RMO organization and across various departments such as PMO, Practice Domains, and Delivery teams.
  • Strategically assign Project Manager (PM) resources to projects, ensuring alignment with project needs.
  • Recognize and quantify Optiv’s cyber security staffing needs and co-ordinate placement of in-house professionals and third-party contractors.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of staffing requests and prioritizing resource requests to ensure right staff assignments.
  • Maximize utilization and increase visibility of availability.
  • Assess skills/certifications against pipeline, business needs and market trends.
  • Identify, assign and manage the schedules of people to projects based on skills, experience, availability, and budget.
  • Create and maintain all resource bookings, including future bookings, holiday weeks, and pipeline bookings.
  • Manage the relationship with third-party vendors, negotiate rates, confirm availability, and identify potential subcontractors.
  • Escalate potential staffing conflicts, sensitive, or high-risk situations to leadership.
