Requirements
- 7+ years of project management experience with a focus on IP transit carriers and data center technologies
- Professional experience and deep understanding of global data center operations and carrier services
- Proven track record of executing on tight timelines and managing complex vendor relationships
- Demonstrated ability to manage and organize high volumes of project-related communications and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to the changing needs of a high-growth technology environment
- Proven success in a collaborative environment focused on global impact
- Proficiency in utilizing operational information systems including Jira, Asana, and Google Suite to track project health
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, document, and manage new data center and expansion sites, including colocation space, IP transit, and structured fiber cabling
- Partner with third-party vendors to ensure seamless order management and delivery of platform services
- Coordinate across functional teams to streamline communications and keep technical documentation current
- Interpret carrier KMZs and leverage knowledge of DWDM technology and dark fiber to ensure site implementations align with diverse routing requirements
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during site test and turn-up activities
