Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounting procedures, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with invoicing, payroll, and tax preparation is a plus.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of all company transactions.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and manage ledgers daily.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits and tax filings.
  • Support payroll processing by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to management and other departments.
