Job Details

Experience: 10+ years

Requirements

10+ years of finance experience
Experience in a SaaS company that scaled well beyond $100m ARR
Experience in a dev tool company (preferred)
Been the #1 or #2 in terms of responsibility for finance
Located in Bay area or willingness to travel to SF once a month (nice to have)
Multi-entity experience (nice to have)
Worked for a remote-first company (nice to have)
Worked with usage-based revenue (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Own FP&A and help make big finance related decisions
Report financial metrics to the board and investors
Be responsible for the accuracy of accounts, including revenue recognition across all products
Ensure all areas of payroll, indirect taxes and other finance-y compliance issues are handled
Partner with GTM teams to deliver the best experience to customers
Help make Finance an enabler of every team at PostHog
Power every product, infra, sales, CS, legal, people team member to think about the financial success of the business
Tell the financial story to team members, the board, and future investors
Live in the important details and translate these into the big picture
