Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- Experience focused on SaaS platforms, APIs, or system integrations
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories
- Highly analytical thinking
- Proven ability to develop flow diagrams, process maps, and data models
- Strong understanding of customer needs and business processes
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to drive solutions
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of APIs (REST/GQL)
- Knowledge of web services and data structures
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to converse fluently with engineers regarding technical feasibility and implementation details
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent industry experience
Responsibilities
- Translate customer, service & solution partner requirements and business workflows into detailed technical specifications for the development team on integrations and public APIs.
- Investigate and document the technical aspects of changes introduced by 3rd parties and its impact on connections and public APIs.
- Own and maintain the team's product backlog, including creating, refining, and prioritizing support requests, user stories, epics, and tasks.
- Engage with customers, service & solution partners, and internal stakeholders to elicit and clearly define business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze AI-generated insights to guide the direction of enhancements to integrations and public APIs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, answering questions, clarifying requirements, and providing context during sprints.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to manage expectations and communicate product roadmap prioritization and release status.
- Together with QA, define acceptance tests to ensure completed features meet specified requirements and maintain quality.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and documentation teams to ensure successful feature launches, including training and demos.
- Develop, document, and maintain process and data models for integrations and public APIs.
- Collaborate with the Security team to ensure API integrations adhere to company data security standards and compliance requirements.
