- 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Proven track record of managing external or distributed development teams
- Comfortable overseeing multiple related features or products
- Ensuring consistency and strategic alignment across areas of responsibility
- Crystal clear, highly documented, and impossible to misinterpret communication
- Deep understanding of self-serve SaaS metrics
- Understanding of how product strategy directly influences global growth and user retention
- Understanding of APIs
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of the limitations of high-scale systems
- Ability to effectively challenge and guide external technical teams
- Proactive in seeking updates
- Comfortable holding external partners accountable to high standards and tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary lead for external development teams
- Drive velocity, ensure milestones are met, and maintain high standard of output across assigned products
- Define the high-level roadmap and requirements
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts on backlog items and user stories
- Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure scalability for 100M+ users
- Work closely with the Head of Growth and Head of Engineering for alignment with internal technology standards and marketing goals
- Manage the product journey from MVP through to global scale
- Make data-driven decisions on features to kill and double down on
- Continuously evaluate performance and efficiency of external development teams
