Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferable in Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or a related field
- 6-10 years of experience in proposal writing
- Experience preferably in software development or IT services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English
- Ability to write persuasively and adapt tone/style to suit different audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Familiarity with proposal automation tools and formatting best practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and leadership levels
- Experience writing proposals for app development and maintenance projects (preferred)
- Exposure to workflow automation or no-code tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with RFx processes in Canadian or North American markets (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word or Google Docs formatting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ/RFB) opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to shape effective proposal strategies.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals tailored to various technical and business audiences.
- Work closely with subject matter experts across sales, technical, UX, product, and delivery teams, as well as internal stakeholders for key inputs and reviews.
- Ensure all proposals meet company standards for format, accuracy, and presentation while maintaining strict submission deadlines.
- Maintain and enhance proposal templates, content libraries, and workflow automation tools for efficiency and consistency.
- Assist in effort estimation and pricing for small to medium app development and maintenance projects under the guidance of the Bids Lead.
