Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business with healthcare focus, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education (online or in-person)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional healthcare industry experience
  • Experience working in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, payer organizations, or medical practice operations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing
  • Digital fluency and ability to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into instruction
  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education
  • Passion for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
  • Available to commit 8-10 hours per week per course
  • Experience teaching online live (Preferred)
  • Experience with EHR systems (Preferred)
  • Experience with revenue cycle management or billing (Preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CMRS, CHC, CHFP (Preferred)
  • Experience serving first-generation or nontraditional students (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead live sessions
  • Engage students in applied discussion
  • Supervise real-world projects
  • Teach live online classes between 6 and 10 PM EST
  • Deliver structured, high-engagement instruction in an 11-week quarter
  • Lead case-based discussions and applied exercises
  • Grade and provide substantive, timely feedback
  • Support capstone and applied project supervision
  • Integrate digital tools and AI appropriately into coursework
  • Maintain strong academic standards and uphold integrity
  • Collaborate with program leadership as the program evolves
