Job Details

Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education (online or in-person); Minimum 3 years of professional healthcare industry experience

Requirements

Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Health Informatics, Business with healthcare focus, or related field
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in higher education (online or in-person)
Minimum 3 years of professional healthcare industry experience
Experience working in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, payer organizations, or medical practice operations
Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills
Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing
Digital fluency and ability to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into instruction
Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education
Passion for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
Available to commit 8-10 hours per week per course
Experience teaching online live (Preferred)
Experience with EHR systems (Preferred)
Experience with revenue cycle management or billing (Preferred)
Professional certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CMRS, CHC, CHFP (Preferred)
Experience serving first-generation or nontraditional students (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead live sessions
Engage students in applied discussion
Supervise real-world projects
Teach live online classes between 6 and 10 PM EST
Deliver structured, high-engagement instruction in an 11-week quarter
Lead case-based discussions and applied exercises
Grade and provide substantive, timely feedback
Support capstone and applied project supervision
Integrate digital tools and AI appropriately into coursework
Maintain strong academic standards and uphold integrity
Collaborate with program leadership as the program evolves
