Requirements

  • 6-7+ years of experience in email, lifecycle, or retention marketing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo
  • Proven experience in strategic email marketing roles focused on planning, optimization, and performance analysis
  • Confidence working directly with clients in a client-facing role
  • Experience in an agency environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with e-commerce brands is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to build segmentation and lifecycle strategies based on data and business goals
  • Ability to collaborate with and guide cross-functional teams including implementation, design, and copy

Responsibilities

  • Lead email and lifecycle strategy for client accounts, defining segmentation, automation direction, campaign planning, and optimization opportunities.
  • Serve as a client-facing strategic partner, leading conversations, presenting recommendations, and aligning strategy with business goals.
  • Own audits, performance analysis, and strategic roadmaps to improve retention, engagement, and revenue across accounts.
  • Provide direction to internal implementation, design, and copy teams, ensuring deliverables reflect the strategic vision established for each client.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain account momentum, strategic consistency, and high-quality output.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement based on account performance, client needs, and lifecycle marketing best practices.
