Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, including building and deploying production applications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience building multimodal LLM-powered applications that run in production (AI agents, agentic workflows, or LLM-integrated tools)
- Early adopter of AI-driven engineering (e.g., used Claude Code from day one)
- Demonstrated ability to take a project from idea to deployed product independently
- Fluency in AI agents like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex
- Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude API and/or OpenAI API, Google Gemini API
- Relentlessly current with AI stack changes (model releases, agent frameworks, protocol changes)
- Experience building or consuming MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
- Experience designing multi-step agent workflows with tool use, decision-making, human-in-the-loop escalation, and guardrails
- Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript (primary language)
- Proficiency in Next.js for building internal-facing web applications
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and AI/ML workflows
- Proficiency in Firestore / Firebase for database and backend services
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, IAM)
- Proficiency in Git / Github for version control and collaborative development
- Experience with API Design (RESTful APIs, webhooks, secure authentication)
- Experience with Containerization (Docker)
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build)
- Experience with Observability (logging, monitoring, error tracking for AI-powered systems)
Responsibilities
- Operate as a one-person product team embedded directly into a core business function
- Identify friction points within assigned department and use AI tooling to build, code, and deploy automations end-to-end
- Achieve measurable process improvement, shipped fast
- Research problems, design solutions, code them, and launch them
- Utilize AI coding assistants heavily to multiply output
- Translate messy, real-world business workflows into clean technical solutions
