- Strong Networking Skills: able to quickly build and maintain meaningful relationships with external partners.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: can successfully manage multiple threads at once while also ensuring that all external materials match Chorus’s standards of excellence.
- Initiative: eager to take on new challenges and step outside a defined scope when needed to fulfill the project’s broader mission.
- Poised under Pressure: Reliable in a fast-changing environment; experience at a campaign or startup is a plus.
- Strong Interest in Digital Space: Familiar with major trends and leading organizations across pro-democracy digital media, especially those directly related to creators.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with external organizations and partners.
- Cultivate opportunities to strengthen services for creators.
- Expand collaborations with organizations sharing pro-democracy mission.
- Serve as a primary ambassador for Chorus.
- Attend events and share program updates with partners.
- Help organizations understand how to work with Chorus.
- Build a plan to integrate the Creator Council into decision-making conversations and mentorship programs.
- Standardize a cadence for Creator Council meetings.
- Identify potential partners and educate them about collaboration.
- Manage relationships with high-priority contacts.
- Help create and distribute partner memos with content analytics, creator success stories, and program metrics.
- Engage Creator Council members in decision-making and curriculum.
- Own logistics of Creator Council meetings, including agenda setting and voting procedures.
- Leverage partner relationships to secure invites and press credentials for creators at events.
- Attend in-person events as a representative for Chorus.
- Support the team in producing Chorus’s own events.
