Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Sciences, Engineering, Education, or Communication
  • 2+ years of education specialist, clinical/technical specialist, or learning & development role
  • 2+ years of building content, facilitating sales/education training with internal stakeholders and hosting meetings
  • 1+ years of facilitation, learning & development, or training (a plus)
  • 1+ years of project management experience (a plus)
  • Experience educating for science, healthcare, medical device, engineering, sales or another related field experience (a plus)
  • In-depth understanding of technical concepts to build learnings
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suites
  • Proficiency in design, development and management of content (Jira, Articulate, Canva, LMS platform) (a plus)
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal 8-5pm EST business hours, including weekends due to conferences and hands-on education events
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Support in execution of customer education
  • Implement Galaxy technology education content
  • Create programs for targeted customers
  • Partner with field teams and corporate education training programs
  • Provide clinical, technical education and expert consultation to facilitate broad adoption of technology
  • Assist in training events for the Education Department
  • Deliver exceptional clinical and technical education on medical device during clinical procedures
  • Maintain education expertise on product to lead internal and external customers
  • Partner with the commercial team in educating pathway to proficiency plan, launch week activities, advanced clinical education support and processes
  • Assist the Education team as a course facilitator and presenter for various internal sales and physician education programs, sales meetings and national events
  • Deliver confidence in preparing and managing cadaveric specimen, or lung models in a training lab environment
  • Support creative direction and development of content creation, online e-course building, and education deliverables
  • Innovate new ideas and define projects of varying sizes, curricula, and number of contributors to complete project end to end
  • Create ILTs and design new educational workshops
  • Independently outline, organize and track project milestones to achieve timeline goals
  • Own aspects of education logistics, communications, workflow processes and team operations
  • Coordinate logistics for MedEd Events with physicians, sales, and internal partners
  • Lead meetings to take minutes, establish accountability to meet deadlines
  • Update and manage education tools and calendar of events
  • Own organization and operations of database systems
  • Responsible for equipment management
  • Routine upkeep of shared resources
