Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or working with medical information systems such as RIS, PACS, HIS, or EMR platforms
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and enterprise server environments
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and system integration in complex IT environments
- Familiarity with healthcare imaging workflows and standards such as DICOM and HL7 is highly preferred
- Experience with databases such as SQL, DB2, or Oracle is an advantage
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Perl, Java, VB, or similar) is a plus for troubleshooting and automation tasks
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Medical Informatics, or equivalent experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and act as an escalation point for complex issues related to medical imaging platforms and associated infrastructure
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, networking, and integration issues across RIS, PACS, VNA, and related systems
- Manage inbound and outbound customer interactions while ensuring accurate documentation of issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in CRM systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution of incidents and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Perform system maintenance activities, including remote upgrades and preventative checks to ensure stability and performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal knowledge bases by documenting root causes, solutions, and best practices
