Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or similar qualification

Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with NetSuite
Prior work experience at a SaaS or Software company
Experience with Billing or Revenue Recognition tool (Stripe, Chargebee)
Experience with all-round accounting (AR, AP, Payroll, GL, tax, audit)
Good knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
Experience in supporting annual audits
Independent, structured, solution-oriented and analytical way of working
Great time management skills and strong ability to stay organized and deliver closer to financial deadlines
Professional fluency in German and English

Oversee all aspects of accounting for our entities’ billing, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, tax and various special analyses
Maintain general ledger reconciliations with adequate documentation for all balance sheet accounts
Responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and commentary of your portfolio and support with consolidation and monthly group reporting
Run annual financial statements and audits, preparing and filing of VAT, sales tax and GST returns
Support our Leadership Team in tax matters and international billing, monitor and prepare intercompany transactions
Work with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors and other service providers
Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
Supervision and optimization of the company’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives
