Requirements
- Experience in an accounting, financial reporting, or audit role, ideally within SaaS.
- Exposure to global accounting practices.
- Exposure to revenue recognition with an understanding of IFRS 15 or ASC 606 standards.
- ERP systems experience (Oracle or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large, complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end and quarter-end revenue close process, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Support the accurate application of revenue recognition policies under IFRS 15.
- Partner closely with Accounts Receivable team to reconcile revenue, billing, and collections activity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, IT, FP&A, and Deal Desk to understand contract terms and support with revenue assessments.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to improve the efficiency of the revenue process.
- Support internal and external audit processes, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
