Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with US-based entities.
  • Strong expertise in US GAAP, corporate taxation, and audit processes.
  • Solid understanding of US federal and state tax laws and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or Sage.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate in a remote environment.
  • Adaptability to cross-border collaboration and US time zone alignment.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a structured approach to financial documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP standards.
  • Manage general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit & loss analysis.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle federal, state, and local US corporate tax filings and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare documentation for audits, tax returns, and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and IRS regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Review vendor invoices, manage reconciliations, and ensure timely payment cycles.
  • Maintain audit-ready financial records and well-organized documentation.
  • Support implementation of best practices in financial governance and reporting integrity.
