Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with US-based entities.
- Strong expertise in US GAAP, corporate taxation, and audit processes.
- Solid understanding of US federal and state tax laws and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate in a remote environment.
- Adaptability to cross-border collaboration and US time zone alignment.
- High integrity, professionalism, and a structured approach to financial documentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit & loss analysis.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle federal, state, and local US corporate tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Prepare documentation for audits, tax returns, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and IRS regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Review vendor invoices, manage reconciliations, and ensure timely payment cycles.
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and well-organized documentation.
- Support implementation of best practices in financial governance and reporting integrity.
