Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Middle Eastern markets.
  • Strong regional network and market knowledge in at least one key country (e.g., UAE, KSA, Qatar).
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and close complex deals.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience selling into government, aerospace, defense, or technology-driven markets (Bonus).
  • Familiarity with long-cycle enterprise or public-sector sales (Bonus).
  • Experience working with cross-border or multinational teams (Bonus).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with Slingshot’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across priority Middle Eastern markets.
  • Conduct market research to assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Provide regional insights to inform product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, strategic partners, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that expand market reach and accelerate growth.
  • Represent Slingshot at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to regional customers.
  • Lead negotiations, structure deals, and close contracts in alignment with internal policies and revenue targets.
  • Manage and forecast regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support deal execution.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and cultural norms in all business activities.
