Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting, or a related role
  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, employee support, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and switch contexts frequently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and operate with good judgment in ambiguous situations
  • High level of trustworthiness and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
  • Experience supporting recruiting or talent operations in a startup or fast-paced environment (preferred)
  • Exposure to global HR or compliance across multiple countries (preferred)
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or people operations tools (e.g., Gusto, Greenhouse, etc.) (preferred)
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Work across recruiting, people operations, and internal infrastructure to help scale the team
  • Support and improve hiring processes, managing employee lifecycle operations
  • Build systems and infrastructure that enable the team to do their best work
  • Support the team in growing intentionally, maintaining a strong culture, and ensuring smooth and compliant operations across multiple geographies
  • Coordinate and support the hiring process end-to-end, including scheduling, candidate communication, and interview logistics
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a thoughtful and high-quality candidate experience
  • Help build and improve recruiting processes and systems as we scale
  • Support sourcing and pipeline development as needed
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes across U.S. and international team members
  • Provide day-to-day support to employees, helping address questions and needs as they arise
  • Assist with benefits administration and general HR processes
  • Plan and support team events, offsites, and engagement initiatives
  • Support compliance across multiple geographies (U.S., UK, Ireland, and contractors globally)
  • Conduct research and stay up to date on employment laws and best practices
  • Help develop and maintain clear, lightweight internal guidelines and documentation
  • Assist with audits, insurance, and other operational compliance needs
  • Support implementation and management of HR tools, ATS, and internal systems
  • Assist with IT coordination, device management, and vendor relationships
  • Contribute to SOC 2 / ISO compliance initiatives and documentation efforts
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
  • Make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information
  • Balance speed and accuracy in a fast-moving environment
  • Proactively identify problems and drive solutions across people operations
