Job Details

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or cash applications roles
Proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions with accuracy and efficiency
Hands-on experience with ERP systems
Familiarity with NetSuite or similar platforms is strongly preferred
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work within US business hours and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment
Experience in distributor or wholesale environments is a plus
Background in industries such as CPG, retail, food & beverage, or e-commerce is advantageous
Familiarity with trade deductions and related processes is a plus

Manage and execute the end-to-end cash application process for distributor and wholesale customer payments
Accurately apply payments, credits, deductions, and adjustments within the ERP system
Review remittance details and supporting documentation to ensure correct allocation of funds
Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as short payments, chargebacks, and unapplied cash in collaboration with internal teams and customers
Track and document trade deductions and assist in resolving outstanding balances
Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and support account reconciliations
Prepare regular reports related to AR balances, deductions, and cash application performance
Contribute to month-end close activities, including reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries
Support audits and assist with ad hoc financial analyses and accounting tasks as needed
