Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Significant depth in React
- Experience with modern SSR frameworks (Remix, NextJS, etc.)
- Expert-level understanding of GraphQL architecture (schema design, performance optimization, resolver patterns)
- Proven track record of delivering accessible, performant, and scalable frontend solutions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of testing strategies and tools (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress)
- Extensive experience designing and optimizing build and deployment pipelines
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling frontend architectures
- Deep understanding of performance optimization, code splitting, micro-frontends, and modular design patterns
- Track record of mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Leverages AI-augmented development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of our cutting-edge frontend platform
- Drive architectural decisions and establish patterns for scalable experiences
- Architect and implement complex user interfaces
- Set standards for accessibility, performance, and responsive design
- Mentor others on best practices
- Partner with backend engineers to design and evolve platform capabilities
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams
- Influence product direction and technical roadmaps
- Champion engineering excellence through comprehensive testing strategies
- Lead by example in code reviews, providing thoughtful feedback
- Optimize and evolve our CI/CD infrastructure using NX and CircleCI
