Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management in a customer-facing, B2B context.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a pragmatic product roadmap.
  • Domain knowledge in SDLC governance, GRC, and DORA metrics in an enterprise context.
  • Domain knowledge in Software Provenance and Attestation (e.g., SLSA and in-toto).
  • Domain knowledge in ITSM and Software Asset Management product practices.
  • Domain knowledge in Build systems (e.g., Gradle Build Tool and Apache Maven).
  • Domain knowledge in CI/CD practices.
  • Prior experience as a software engineer or a computer science degree.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of security standards and frameworks relevant to the software supply chain (e.g., NIST, CISA, ISO 27001) (Preferred).
  • Experience with cryptography, signing, and key management practices in a developer tool context (Preferred).
  • Experience with building AI-powered products, agentic workflows, or LLM-based tooling (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for provenance and supply chain governance, accounting for AI-driven development changes.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
  • Develop business cases for new product initiatives.
  • Establish the product direction for how AI agents and autonomous workflows interact with provenance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the AI strategy team to identify opportunities for AI-driven provenance capabilities.
  • Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape and evaluate its impact on software supply chain security.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from all stakeholders.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into prioritized functional requirements.
  • Make pragmatic roadmap prioritization decisions with a clear rationale.
  • Work with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging.
  • Develop go-to-market materials to support enterprise sales.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to understand and address customer pain points.
  • Evangelize for your products, presenting to customers, partners, and at conferences.
  • Actively engage with industry standards bodies and communities around SLSA, SPDX, in-toto.
  • Act as an external thought leader in the provenance and supply chain governance domain.
