Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
- Telecom experience is a plus
- Experience with AutoCad
- Experience with Google Earth
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)
- Proficient use of MS Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient use of teleconferencing applications
- Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software
Responsibilities
- Organizes and oversees daily activities of splice technician crews to ensure efficient operations
- Manages project tracking information such as production sheets, work orders, and customer-required paperwork
- Reads and follows design engineer’s instructions and specifications while maintaining the scope of work and adhering to safety procedures
- Keeps track of data and enclosure splicing activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Maintains records of both internal and external splicers, coordinates schedules, assignments, and ensures adequate resourcing
- Monitors and tracks billing activities from contractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintains organized records of contractor billing statements and invoices for reconciliation and reporting
- Tracks materials required for splicing crews and places requests for additional materials as needed
- Effectively communicates with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and ensure project success
