Requirements

Real quilting experience
Created original patterns before (or know you can)
Ability to teach through writing - clear, practical, and easy to follow
Reliable, proactive, and organized
Experience with pattern layout/design tools (bonus)
Basic illustration/diagramming experience (bonus)
Proficiency in InDesign (bonus)

Responsibilities

Design creative quilting projects that fit within a Mrs Quilty format
Write detailed step-by-step instructions for the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced versions of each pattern
Include a materials list, finished size, cutting guide, diagrams, assembly instructions, and helpful tips
Collaborate with our internal team for feedback, testing, and final polishing
Meet deadlines and deliver clean, well-formatted work without hand-holding
