Job Details

10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
Significant proven experience in mentoring software teams and leading technical topics.
Proven track record of designing and delivering complex systems from scratch.
Experience owning the architecture and technical health of a product.
Mastery in data modeling (Entities, Relationships) and designing distributed systems.
Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Experience with distributed SQL backends and high-performance React UI.
Product-minded leader, comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting technical strategy.
Fluent in English and French.
Comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment.
Previous experience in GRC or Cybersecurity sectors (bonus).
Familiarity with STIX/TAXII or MITRE ATT&CK framework (bonus).
Interest in quantitative risk methodologies (e.g., FAIR model) (bonus).
Experience maintaining or leading Open Source projects (bonus).
Python skills for data processing scripts and tooling (bonus).

Own the technical roadmap and system design for OpenGRC.
Architect a clean, scalable Single Page App (SPA) and event-driven backend (Node.js/TypeScript).
Drive the implementation of the Correlation Engine and Quantification Engine.
Set the bar for code quality, testing patterns, and documentation.
Mentor future hires and conduct code reviews.
Partner with Product Management to translate business goals into technical reality, defining domain models.
Lead the technical alignment and seamless integration with OpenCTI and OpenAEV.
Act as the technical face of OpenGRC in the open-source community, engaging with contributors and guiding architecture decisions.
