Requirements
- Strong back-end engineering experience with Node.js, Deno, or Bun
- Solid foundation in TypeScript
- Deep knowledge of Sanity.io
- Experience working with composable CMS platforms and content architecture
- Strong understanding of full-stack application design
- Understanding of interaction between back-end systems and React/Next.js front-ends
- Experience with testing
- Experience with automation
- Experience with performance optimization
- Experience with security best practices
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define the back-end architecture, hosting approach, and overall development strategy for complex web applications
- Lead CMS implementations and migrations, including content modeling and ETL process design
- Design and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL services to support modern front-end experiences
- Partner with DevOps teams to support infrastructure, environments, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting platforms
- Own the server-side architecture, ensuring secure, high-performing, and scalable data delivery
